Creative Ride Engineering Executive Walt Disney Imagineering

Dave Durham is the Creative Ride Engineering Executive at Walt Disney Imagineering. David’s day to day roles range from working with Blue Sky project teams conjuring up new attractions globally to leading training and development efforts helping grow the next generation of Imagineers. He has worked at Disney for over 30 years in a number of different divisions including Creative, Production, Ride Engineering and R&D. If you’ve been to a Disney park anywhere in the world, there’s a good chance you’ve ridden an attraction to which he contributed.

Dave has numerous hobbies including photography, videography, music composition, hiking, woodworking, model making, 4x4, snowboarding, computer programming and flying. Dave is active in his community and volunteers with the Special Olympics and with his Church. He considers himself an optimistic realist and believes that a purpose driven life is a full life. His favorite slogan is “Just Do It” and he believes that it’s best to avoid the easy, instead, do hard things.

Jon Edmiston is a senior leader of Spark, one of the core and original developers of Rock RMS, the technical architect, Rock community leader, and founding vision-caster of the Rock project. He approaches life with curiosity and a determination to deliver excellence. Connecting people through technology is just one of his passions, and he also carves out time to pursue karate and adventures with his family.

Emily is a senior leader of Spark. She enjoys working with the Rock community and Rock Partners, and tackles many of the operational aspects of running a non-profit, as well as moderating the RockCast podcast. She is passionate about understanding and connecting people, taking on the hard projects, traveling with her family and changing the world one smile at a time.

Chuck has been a Programmer/Analyst at Southeast Christian Church since 2015. He has a background in web application development and is familiar with an assortment of languages including PHP, Java, and C#. He spends his time away from the office with his wife and four kids and loves camping and snowboarding.

After spending 15 years in education technology, Stuart came to ministry and has spent the last three years as the Director of Innovation and Technology at Lake Pointe Church. His focus at Lake Pointe has been to help ministries see where they can innovate in ways that will advance the kingdom. He and his team focus on delivering a high level of customer service and on being a resource of innovation. Stuart, his wife, and four children live in Rockwall TX.

Ben Chapman

Ben has been the Team Lead at Bema Software since 2018. He has a background in web application development and was previously the CTO at a software firm headquartered in Houston, TX. Ben is a certified CrossFit Coach and loves exploring the Texas hill country while spending time with his beautiful wife Lisa, and their dog Molly.

Blenda is the Membership Director at Houston's First Baptist Church. She has been married for 37 years and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She worked as a software trainer for over 17 years prior to joining the Houston's First staff. She loves helping people work smarter with technology.

Charlotte Dean

Data Coordinator BridgePoint Church

Charlotte has been the Data Coordinator at BridgePoint Church for 7 years. Charlotte has no technical background but fell in love with process and databases after being first brought on staff at BridgePoint in 2013. She is married with 2 beautiful girls that keep her and her husband, Justin, busy at all times. She's an avid sports fan (Go Gators and Who Dat!) and enjoys crocheting and loves to entertain at her home.

Dave Dummit

David Dummitt is an innovative leader with a strong passion to see church leaders win and have fun doing it. He is a “pastor to pastors,” committed to equipping and coaching church leaders to lead themselves and lead their churches well.

Dave currently serves as the Senior Pastor at Willow Creek Community Church, one church in multiple locations across the greater Chicago area.

Before stepping into his current role, Dave founded and led 2|42 Community Church in Michigan, ranked by Outreach Magazine for six years in a row as one of the fastest-growing churches in America. As a church committed to community outreach and radical generosity, 2|42 builds award-winning Community Centers with indoor sports and fitness facilities, cafes, playscapes for kids, and a school for the arts.

Dave has served on the board of the Solomon Foundation, and has previously held the role of North American Director of NewThing, a global church-planting organization. Additionally, Dave partnered with two gifted technology developers to create GYVE, an innovative generosity development tool for churches and nonprofits.

He and his wife, Meagan, have lived in Anderson, SC for the past 13 years and love spending time with their 4 kids. Jeremy Henderson is the Next Steps Pastor for Lake Pointe Church, where he oversees the assimilation process for 6 English campuses, 3 Spanish campuses, and the internet campus. Jeremy is passionate about equipping staff and volunteers to clearly share the gospel with Lake Pointe attenders. He’s married to Kate and they have 3 kids.

Eddie Holeman

Information Technology Director Fellowship Greenville

Eddie and his wife, Diane, came to Fellowship Greenville after serving as missionaries for six years in Bolivia, South America. Although he has a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, his passion is not technology, but using technology as a tool for ministry. Eddie is dad to Rachel and Rebecca, who are both medical professionals.

Rob is the IT Director for Emmanuel Church located in central Indiana. He has been with the church for almost 4 years. He and his wife have a blended family of 4 girls aged 15,14, and 11 year old twins. He spends his free time in the outdoors kayaking and fishing when the weather is warm and he loves coaching basketball.

Michael oversees the church’s finance, Human Resources, IT, Web Development, New Construction, Facilities, Missions, and Campus Safety teams. Michael and his wife, Lori, have three children. Michael loves spending time with his family, camping, and hiking. He is passionate about using technology, innovation, and efficient systems to help people meet Jesus and grow in their relationship with Him.

Chris Nelson

After getting injured in the Navy, Chris found Jesus, found his elementary school sweetheart, and her home church - Traders Point Christian Church. He started his career over again in technology and was privileged to work in some exciting, early-stage software companies in the Indianapolis area like T2 Systems and Bluebridge Digital. As those companies grew, Chris was fortunate to assume various leadership roles running Operations and Technology. As a consummate volunteer, Chris ran the Ministry for Children with Special Needs and the Safety Ministry, among other volunteer roles at the church. Chris was surprised one random weekday when his Executive Pastor took him to coffee - Chris thought he was going to ask for some technology advice - but really he was offered a job as the CIO for the church. Chris has to pinch himself every day because God has provided an awesome family, some relief to his injuries, and an amazing job.

Dave has served the Church in a variety of roles including Connections Pastor, Middle School Pastor, Worship Leader, Church-Planting Project Manager, Community Outreach Developer, and many years as an Elder on several church boards. Moving frequently, he’s gained insight from many different types of churches in a variety of contexts. Dave's current work with Healthy Growing Leaders involves creating and refining assessment instruments, developing comprehensive reports, and building delivery systems for TrueWiring and TrueWiring4Churches. He’s been married 31+ years to Zoë Hale and together they have four adult daughters. Dave & Zoë are both retired Air Force officers living in Anderson, South Carolina where they are actively involved in helping agencies through their Community Resource Guide.

Traders Point Christian Church has been home to Jenna and her husband for the last 9 years. She helped launch several TPCC campuses as a volunteer before coming on staff 2 years ago. She loves working on the Guest Experience Team and collaborating with other ministries to make more effective systems and process. Her and her team have the ultimate goal of bringing people closer to Jesus.

Josiah has been on staff at Calvary Bible Church for 13+ years. He oversees technology, communication systems, and the church database; along with Men’s Ministry and special projects. He enjoys systems analysis and training leaders to be more effective, both spiritually and technologically.

Mike Sherman

Executive Pastor Calvary Church

Mike has been married for 33 years to Nancy, and they are parents of three adult children and grandparents to one grandchild. He worked as a software engineer for Boeing for 10 years before joining the ministry team at Calvary Church in 1995 as Children's Pastor. Mike has led ministry, operational, finance, and leadership teams for 25 years at Calvary. He likes to teach and facilitate discussions regarding the intersection of the church, the gospel, theology, and our culture.

Thomas Stephens

Developer Northview Church

Thomas was a Software Engineer for 7 years when he realized that sitting in an office for 8 hours a day writing code wasn’t doing it for him anymore. He really wanted to interact with people and problem solve more. Going to Northview to lead the migration to a new database system called Rock was a big risk, but it has been very rewarding. There is so much to do and sometimes it can be stressful, but he can honestly say that he loves what he does. The Rock community is great and Thomas loves solving ministry problems with a great tool!

Tina Stephens

With over 10 years ministry experience, and a background in website development, Tina was excited to use her combined skills as the Rock Program Manager for Scottsdale Bible. Tina enjoys building relationships with ministry teams to understand specific needs and develop efficient solutions and training. She lives in Phoenix with her husband of 29 years near their 4 grown children. In her free time, Tina enjoys writing historical novels, hiking, and photography.

She has been at The Crossing for 10 years, was part of their Rock transition team 4 years ago, and has been part of the Rock community for 6 years. She got married in January, so 2020 has truly been a life-altering year.

Debbie Thurston

IT Trainer & Project Manager Fellowship Greenville

As the IT Trainer and Project Manager at Fellowship Greenville, Debbie enjoys being able to help others understand the power of Rock while also learning some of the different things that can be improved through Rock Workflows and Reporting. As Project Manager, she helps others work with the Project Management tool within the Rock environments as well as how to keep projects on track. She and her husband Bob enjoy time with family including their four grandchildren.

Jennifer Troeger

Director of Database Services Kensington Church

Jennifer first came on staff at Kensington in 2005 and has served in many roles over the past 15 years. Her focus is now on all-things-database while striving to help all ministries achieve their goals through the use of Rock RMS. Although Kensington Church has six campuses located throughout Michigan, she has worked remotely since 2014 and currently calls Asheville, North Carolina her home.

Janet Turner

Janet has been on staff with Lake Pointe Church for the past 15 years. Through the years, she worked in several departments and finally settled into the role of Director of Database Services for the Technology team in 2007. She is passionate about learning new ways that technology can assist the Lake Pointe team and can help the ministries accomplish projects together. Janet and her husband Richard, live in Heath, Texas and have 3 sons and 2 granddaughters.

After getting a degree in Business Marketing at Pacific Lutheran University and serving for a year on the World Race, Morgan jumped in and learned the ropes of Rock. Morgan has a passion for creating processes that are scalable and efficient so that ministries can have more time to serve the people. When she’s not building new workflows, you can find her at the movies with her friends or playing with the cutest dogs in town.
