Event Calendar look and feel

Hello, Im evaluating Rock for my church and one of the features that is important for us is having an internal event calendar for our staff. I'm using the demo available online and what is available there is just like a table of events and I'm wondering if the actual system includes a way to see the calendar as a regular monthly calendar with weeks and days Sunday through Saturdays.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Karen, do either of the answers below hit the mark on your question? If not can you edit your question to include additional details?

To add an "internal" calendar like you see for the external site, you can do the following:

    1. Go to or add a new page where you want to display the calendar.
    2. Add the Calendar Lava block to a zone on the page.
    3. Edit the block's settings -- namely set the Event Calendar field to the "Internal" calendar and set the Lava Template to something such as "{% include '~~/Assets/Lava/Calendar.lava' %}". Example settings:
      CalendarLavaBlockSettings.png
    4. Reload the page and you should see somethin g like this:
      ExampleInternalCalendar.png

You can then use the Advanced tab in the block settings to add a custom header to the calendar or you can just add a new HTML block above it to put any other content you wish to display. Cheers!

    Hi Keren,

Have you taken a look at the demo site?  http://www.rocksolidchurchdemo.com/page/5341  This is the link to the external/public calendar, but I am sure the internal calendar looks and functions similarly.

Don I believe she is wanting the events to be on the calendar its self i I read it correctly. If that is what she is needing then as far as I know its not an easy fix at the moment although I was also needing this.

Ah! I misunderstood. And did not read it very well, as I now see that she said she was looking at the demo.

So, Jay... Doesn't the Internal Calendar look and operate like the Public one? Where is the internal calendar displayed? Meaning after I add something to the internal calendar, where does the staff go to see it?
