Export of All RockRMS data

Hi - just wondered if it is possible to export all data from RockRMS into say MS Exel format? Thanks

The easiest way to export data from Rock is to create a Report to display the information to be exported.
In the Results Grid for the Report, click the "Export to Excel" or "Merge to Merge Template" actions to perform an export or a merge to an external document.

You need to do this for each type of record to be exported - there is no way to export all of the data at once.

RockRMS is built on MS SQL tables.  So each table would be a spreadsheet in Excel.  That being said, you can run a report for each table (or do Select Top 10000000000000* in SQL veiw) and export to Excel.  That will basically give you a quick snapshot of your data.  What you need a little understanding of databases to do is link the tables.  I would export to Excel, import to Access and then you can run quick Quiries on your data.  If you ask very, very nicely and gift him with chocolate covered strawberries, your database administrator for SQL can actually link your RockRMS tables into Access for you (you have to have all kinds of permissions, right phase of the moon, etc.).  DBA's often store in SQL and report in Access.  Access DB's can also be backed up, freezing your data.
