Check and Routing Number not occurring the right way

Our check scans great but for some reason, the routing number and check number are not filled in correctly. The check number goes to Other Data and the Routing Number is filled in as a check number. Did I miss something in the settings? I didn't see this issue posted, so I assume it's working well for everyone else.

We are using a Canon CR-55 scanner. I'm at a loss over what to do, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    Hi Cheryl,

    You didn't specifically mention whether this occured with all scanned checks, or just certain checks.  (I notice the check is not from a USA-based banking institution... though it shoudln't matter I wonder if the scanner software is confusing the formatting for the ABA MICR information?)
