Check In using Barcode

Hi, currently we are in the process of implementing Rock RMS and wondering if there is a way we can use barcodes for check in instead of phone numbers? We have experimented with putting the barcode number as a phone number, but ideally, we would like a category for the barcode instead. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!

    There is currently no support for barcode check-in, and I don't believe it's on the drawing board. You can always make your wishes known here, though. http://www.rockrms.com/Rock/Ideas

    Cheryl,

    I noticed this question a long time ago when we started looking at Rock.  They've added barcode Check-in now.  It's in version 6.7 and higher.  We are running it every weekend and it works great.  Just wanted you to know in case it slipped by.

    Hi Van,

    i know its been long time this thread was formed. but exactly the same question is in my head. will it be possible to use barcodes. if so is there any manual for it. Please share with me . thanks in advance.
