Purpose of Calculate Person Duplicates Job?

Does anyone know what the Calculate Person Duplicates Job does?  I would assume by the title that it's populating a list of potential duplicates, but does anyone know how to access this list?  I think the job has been in Rock for awhile, but the documentation doesn't list this as a "stock" job.

    You're correct. The duplicates that are found are reported under "Tools > Data Integrity > Duplicate Finder". I updated the v3.0 Admin Guide to have this job listed. We just released the v3.0 guides so you should be able to view all the changes now.

      Jon, that page isn't viewable, and when I go to the page via CMS Config->Page Map, it says I don't have rights to view it. I'm a Rock Admin. Am I missing something?

        I confirmed that it is viewable on the demo site. I did notice the same security issue though on our Rock server. I'm thinking that we may have modified an existing migration in the development process when we modified the security. Since both the Rock site and your site (I'm assuming from previous conversations) is being update weekly out of develop we may have missed this setting.


        That's my assumption anyways.... I'll make a SQL script to fix the Rock site today and then email it to you for you to run.

          OK, figured this out. Looks like you must be in the 'RSR - Data Integrity’ security role to view this page. I will add the 'RSR - Rock Administration' group access.
