Service Bulletin Content Channel

Has anyone been successful in displaying service bulletins on your external site?  I can't figure out what to put in the Format box of the Content Channel Dynamic block to get anything to show up.

    Okay I figured it out.  I had to create a new lava file for the Service Bulletin type and use {{ item.Content }} for my merge field.

    Hi Jonathan,

    The best place to start is on some of the existing Content Channel Dynamic blocks already in Rock.  The default external homepage has two sample entries in Format: {% include '~~/Assets/Lava/BlogItemList.lava' %} and {% include '~~/Assets/Lava/AdRotator.lava' %}.  These are Lava files on the server with predefined HTML which you can use or modify as needed.  Also, the Blog page has another that's more for text: {% include '~~/Assets/Lava/BlogItemList.lava' %}.

    Paste any of these into your Format box and see if that's what you're looking for.

    Thanks Jeremy.  I tried those yesterday and went through the Lava directory to try all the different ones there and none of them will show anything.  It could be that I missed a different step somewhere.  Not sure why I can't get anything to display.  Thanks
