Data view: Giving Amount ignores "combine giving with"

Perhaps there's a way around this.

We'd like to be able to update people's "connection status" based on whether they've ever donated to the ministry. I've created a Data View that lists everyone whose status is "Active" and whose Giving amount total is greater than or equal to $1 between January 1, 2015 and January 1, 2100.

It only lists one person from each family.

So it has to be because that's the person listed as having "given" that money- but if other people are in the family and configured to "combine giving with" the same family, I'd like them to be included in the list.

I don't see any "giving" attributes for the "Family" group type, nor do I see a transformation that would allow that kind of filter. Before I drop into a custom SQL expression again (would such a solution even work with a scheduled workflow?) I wanted to see if there was a built-in way to handle this kind of request.

Thanks!

We're actively looking into this. Will update in a comment with status.

We will be adding a setting to this data filter "Include Giving Group Members" that will combine the giving tied to others in the same giving group. So if you're looking for people who have given over $200 it would include a husband who gave $150 and wife who gave $150. Both individuals would be listed on the report.

Has this been added? I see the "Combined Giving" option in a data view, but both individuals aren't listed on the report.
