How can I add an additional Group Viewer Page

In the "Rock Your Groups" manual, they talk about different strategies for groups starting on pg 14. In the multiple group viewers concept the manual talks about adding additional pages to Rock, but I'm missing on how to start that process.

Has anyone figured out how to add a page?

If you are logged in with an administrative account, you should see the button bar (pictured below) at the bottom-right of each page. Clicking on the highlighted button will let you add a Child Page under the current page you are on. Clicking on the button will bring up a list of the current child pages. You can click the 'plus' to add a page. Give it a Name and a Layout and click 'Add'.

Some pages are not easy ot navigate to. For example, if you wanted to put a new Group View page on the same menu as the current 'Group Viewer' page (as the example below shows), you will want to select the correct page using the Page Map.

    New Page Added

The Page Map is available under 'Admin Tools | CMS Configuration | Page Map'. To get to the page in the example above, you would navigate to: 'Internal Homepage - People - Manage'. You would actually select the 'Manage' page and then follow the 'add page' process listed above. You will notice that, in the picture above, 'Manage' is the section head under which the various pages are actually listed. You could, for example, add a page at the same level as the 'Manage' page to put a new section under the 'People' tab.

As you can imagine, there is a ton of flexibility and configurability here.

    Hope this helps.

Derek, this was very helpful!  How did you insert the images into your response?  When I tried to insert images on my other questions, I couldn't get anything to work.

I was able to insert an image by copying it to the clipboard (I used Snipping Tool in Windows) and just pasting it into the form here.

The HTML Editor had a bug in it that prevent users from uploading and inserting images. It works now though. Try clicking on the Image Browser icon in the HTML Editor and you should be able to upload images and insert them.

Yeah, I used the snipping tool to capture the image. I then saved it to my dropbox public folder. Then, I used the image's URL to imbed it in my answer. It looks like the upload/insert image functionality is working now, so that should prove a much simpler solution.
