Do i need internet?

I have no internet access at my church and im looking for a check-in/out system for my children's ministry. Does this require internet?

    Rock does not need Internet access itself to operate, but you will need Internet access to install it as well as apply updates. This could be a temporary internet connection like a phone acting as a wifi hotspot, but might get cumbersome over time. This also assumes you are completely self-hosting Rock on your local network running on your own Windows server. That said, there are also some functions of Rock like address standardization, communications (email and sms), etc that demand Internet connectivity, and running Rock without them might be a frustrating experience.

    I'll throw in if your Rock server isn't hosted internally you won't be able to use check-in without internet access.
