We will continue to support the existing features of this plugin for clients who have previously purchased and installed it. We recommend existing users consider transitioning off this plugin at their discretion.
If your production team uses Vimeo, then you already know how awesome it is. If you’re new to Vimeo, it is a best-in-class video platform. What makes it so awesome? Several things, but for your church specifically, it’s the most cost-effective video hosting and delivery provider you’ll find.
If your church wants to post videos online and publish a video podcast, then a Vimeo Pro (or higher) account is exactly what you’re looking for. The Vimeo Pro account allows API access to the optimized and encoded mp4 video files as well as an HLS feed.
So, what’s this plugin do, you ask? Great question! Whether you’re podcasting, providing video content to your app, embedding into your website, or doing all of those, using Rock Content Channels as your media catalog is a must. This plugin allows you to simply enter the Vimeo Id of the video file and sync information from Vimeo into the Content Channel Item as Attribute Values.
